Portrait pricing varies with canvas size and number of figures represented thereon. Pricing starts at $1,500* and increases depending on the size or complexity of the piece or the addition of other figures - please contact Adam to negotiate specific pricing. The client will need to cover travel expenses, if there are any. While Adam works from photographs, in his studio, it's important that he meet and get to know his subject and that he take his own photographs. It is Adam's pleasure to work with his client to achieve any desired mood and tone. Much of Adam's work to date evokes a whimsical or playful mood, but it should be clear as well, from the diversity of this portfolio, that a more somber, traditional portrait may be painted should that better suit his patron's tastes. Before Adam begins painting he will submit to the client a charcoal sketch of the composition he would like to work on. He will proceed with the actual oil portrait after receiving approval of this proposed composition. After the painting is completed, the client will be given the opportunity to suggest changes should the client be dissatisfied with, for example, any particular rendering or coloring.

*NB: This current cost of a portrait is priced low while Adam is still building up his reputation and portfolio. This is bound to increase so to procure his services sooner, rather than later, will certainly save on the client's costs.
